As rates of unimmunized or under-immunized children steadily increase in the US, and especially in our local community, it is pivotal for providers to be able to address the concerns of parents and patients.
Defining the Learning Objectives:
1) Understand vaccines covered in the recommended immunization schedule.
2) Be able to educate patients and families about the vaccine-preventable diseases covered by immunizations in the recommended schedule.
3) Be able to educate patients and families about risks and benefits of the vaccines,
including reasons not give a vaccine.
4) Be able to address concerns about specific vaccines.
