COAPP welcomes health care providers from diverse specialties and backgrounds to get involved. The core of our group is nurse practitioners and physician assistants; however, our vision is to create an integrated, close-knit local healthcare community by inviting anyone interested in medicine and health to get involved! We welcome physicians, RNs, therapists, health care students, naturopaths, acupuncturists, midwives, etc to become members, attend our continuing medical education events and join our directory for local health care providers.
How Can I get Involved?
1. Become a Member!
The best way to support COAPP and donate to COAPP is to become a member–for about $6 a month you can create a personal listing in our directory, attend monthly CME events for free, have access to past lectures/power-points, and enjoy membership perks with local business partners. Currently, you can become a member by creating a listing in the directory and paying online with paypal, in person at an event, or via mailed in check (see “Join our Community”). COAPP qualifies for CME reimbursement.

2. Attend Events!
If you decide not to become a member, you can still attend events by paying per event. Some of our events will be for NP/PA members only, some will be for directory- members only (anyone who has paid for a listing), and many will be open to the community– anyone interested in health and medicine.
COAPP is volunteer-run by a small handful of local NPs and PAs. It is funded by individual small donations from folks like you who want to create a professional organization or be part of a larger, local health-care community. We have no large corporations funding us or sponsoring us. You can donate via check or paypal or in person at an event.
Make checks payable to COAPP or Central Oregon Advanced Practice Providers Network and mail to Carolyn Sidles (treasurer) at 61532 Alstrup Rd Bend, OR 97702 or pay with credit card via paypal at
COAPP Donation Paypal
(If you want to avoid any paypal fee, do NOT check “goods and services” box when submitting donation)
What does my donation money fund?
100% of your donation goes back into COAPP and our community. Service is an integral part of the COAPP vision, so COAPP will give 15% of donations to local partnering non-profits such as Mountain Star Nursery, Volunteers in Medicine, CASA, etc. The rest of your donation will help pay for our website, gifts/honorariums for speakers, and any costs associated with hosting events.
There are many ways to volunteer with COAPP, and volunteers receive 30% of annual membership or free advertising for their local business on our sponsors page:
*We have specific volunteer positions that need to be filled
*Host an event at your venue as a sponsor business
*Offer our members a discount on your local services as a COAPP local business partner
*Be a speaker for a CME event–have a topic you’d really love to share? Shoot us an email to see if it would qualify as a CME!
Thank you for helping us grow COAPP and creating a better local health care community in Central Oregon!
